Rachel Meyer is a singer and songwriter from Minnesota.

Her debut EP released on October 22, 2021. She’s a featured musician on Prairie Public’s ‘Prairie Musicians',’ which aired February 17, 2022. You can find her performing in the Fargo, ND area as well as in parts of Minnesota.

2023 did not go as planned.

i didn’t be a musician as much as I wanted to; and I lost a little faith in myself.
I didn’t release a song I’ve been wanting to release; I kept saying “I’ll do it next month.”
I wrote so many ‘parts’ of songs but never a full song.
I only played at 3 new places….after having contacted 50.
I ran out of motivation to be a musician so, I threw myself into my work, the work that pays the bills.

I’m not one for new years resolutions, but I always say I’ll better myself in some way; and I always do follow through with that vague resolution.
In 2024, I want to be a better musician.
I’ll keep contacting places, even if that means I contact 100.
I’ll finally write a song without hesitation; as one of my professors quoted Dick Grove: “America doesn’t give a damn, just write it.”
And maybe by the end of this week, I’ll finally upload that song that’s been sitting in my back pocket for release.
